Gear Rental FAQ's

Why do you not provide prices on your equipment list?

Cinesylum wants to help emerging filmmakers and storytellers accomplish their goals without overspending on equipment.  That is why we individually price items based on order size and duration to insure better rates.  The more you rent, the less you pay.

Do you deliver the equipment?

Unfortunately, we do not make deliveries.  Once a rental has been confirmed, an address in Brooklyn, New York will be provided 24 hours prior to an agreed pick-up time.

What happens if the equipment is damaged?

To ensure liability, a Rental Agreement Form must be signed before equipment pick-up.  This contract holds the renter accountable for any damaged or lost equipment during the agreed upon rental period.  Download a preview of the Rental Agreement Form here.

Why was my rental request denied?

We always provide a reason for why we were unable to process your request.  Usually it is because someone already reserved the gear for your desired dates.  If this is the case, we can still provide a smaller package with what we have available.
